Who are we?

Just wondering who we are, at this point. I know we work for the GSB (I think that’s the Global Security Bureau) and that we have a converted Martin Mars (worlds largest seaplane).

I am playing Hans Frederick, Bulletproof Monk. I am a hand to hand combat specialist who is also a medical doctor. Although born in the early 1900’s, Hans (Dr Frederick to you) appears to be in his late 20’s. He is moved by compassion for those suffering under powerful persecutors. He has a military background, from which he values efficiency, order and chain of command. Although he doesn’t understand the decision making making methods of the GSB, he appreciates the teams results.

Who are you?

I am playing Katelyn Ashfield, combat specialist and security consultant. She is a liaison from the Monoc Securities corporation, brought in to assist the GSB as part of an inter-securities alliance. She is a 5’6” athletic blond woman in her mid to late 20s. She comes from a military background, values efficiency, but also has a history of anger management issues. She is relatively new to the GSB at this point, so the verdict is still out.

That’s a really interesting shift for the GSB. You might think they would be worried about bringing in an operative from a private security firm with known supernatural ties and unknown agendas. But then again, we had a shapechanging ninja assassin and a Cupid on the team, so there you are.

And I am a former Waffen SS soldier, come Tibetan monk, come humanitarian physician, come tool of a top secret para world government organization with shady funding and nebulous goals which I never question, so who am I to judge?

In truth, it would really make an outsider wonder what was up with this team? I mean, are we really brought together to do good, or are we really just being concentrated so we can be observed and then eradicated at an opportune moment?

I am playing Carbury "Scotty" Breckenridge. A native of Scotland, he is of average height with a lean whipcord build, light grey eyes and a shock of black hair that remains short but unkempt. Most often seen wearing mechanics coveralls and a bit of engine grease, Carbury acts as this GSB Cell's Mechanic, Armorer, and Logistics officer. Providing the team with the gear they will need to get the job done. More often than not, he has slipped a customized weapon or other interesting bauble into your loadout. Anyone who has spent much time around Carbury has noted that he often talks to inanimate objects as if they could talk back.

For those of you who do a little digging, you can find that a Carbury Breckenridge served in the British Royal Air Force as an Armorer and Airplane Mechanic before being selected for duty with the Special Air Service where his qualifications include all NATO Small Arms, Diesel and Conventional Mechanics, Aeronautic Mechanic & Avionics as well as Demolitions and Explosive Ordinance Disposal. He is listed as having the equivalent of a Class C Drivers’ license in several countries as well as an International Airline Transport Certification. For those of you who dig a little deeper, you find records of a “Carbury Breckenridge” serving in the military during both World Wars, maybe it’s a family name? Then again, Carbury does look pretty spry for a man of 48.
