One of the suggestions in your other thread mentioned a corporation up to no good.
I think that that this would go hand in hand with some fey or human anti-corporate activists causing other trouble.
I think if both entities had some players who were in-the-know and some who were clueless.
One of the things I like about the dresdenverse is that often things that seem normal or that are assumed to be explained away by society really have a supernatural cause/background.
There could be some secret organizations...Why did the native americans occupy alcatraz? Why is the transamerica bldg shaped the way it is? Do the fault lines really harvest spiritual energy and then burst with earthquake force when a ritual goes awry? (like in 1906 and a lesser attempt in 1989?)
Could something be attracting the fey...faries...Ahem...individuals of unusual lifestyle choices...
...or is their, "something in-the-water"
Let me look up some themes and I can provide some more examples...I think their is a style and a flair to how Fate and Dresden specifically name them. Often using clever wording that can be interpreted in multiple ways to provide story variety.
I think its appropriate for each player to pick one or two themes that represent an interest to them and add it to a pool which we will discuss and flesh out eventually choosing what we like best.
Your assignment: Choose two Themes that you would like to see in the game. (Replaced with Dresdenwork #1)

Speaking of Something in the Water
A fairly rarely touched upon but powerful supernatural group that may be cool to include at somepoint is the Fomor.
The sea-dwelling, genetic manipulating nation of monsterous coniving beings.
