Larsen peak (in SF) has an altitude of 666 feet. Not sayin it's evil. Just sayin,...

Mt Davidson Is the highest point at 925 feet (though SF claims it at 928 -- funny how things can appear differently). There is 103 foot tall concrete cross at the peak. Several wooden crosses had been erected prior but burned down from local fires and at one from arson. Seems like a mighty ward of protection to me. Also seems like a place to connect with powers of storm. Sherwood Forest is a neighborhood on the southeastern slope. It begs for some significance.

Yerba Buena -- named after the original name for San Francisco, roughly meaning "good herbs" -- (it's history, I couldn't make this stuff up!), the island that the current bay bridge runs through (next to Treasure Island) has an interesting history, but presently has a condemned tower originally built in 1917 as a signal tower. it has had many uses, but has been condemned since the Loma Prieta quake (1989). Its military cemetery was moved in 1931. (did they get it all?)

Lowest point in SF is 0 feet, as anything lower tends to get flooded. We know that many parts of the old city were dumped into the marina district after the great quake to create more land. And in our game, there is something of an under-city.

Cable car routes and streets in SF can form interesting symbols when viewed from above.

    Please, keep adding to this!

OKay so I did a quick Google search for "Weird History of San Francisco".

Did you know that SEVERAL cemeteries have been dug up and relocated? One of them a Masonic cemetery? yep.

And look at this! A freaking Google MAP of San Francisco weirdness! To much awesome. Have a gander.
